Dear Fr Alvaro Corcuera in Christ: 

I am addressing you as worthy successor of Fr. Marcial Maciel. At this time I bow to your authority held by the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI and recognize that several of your acts have been inspired by the father of lies.

On last Monday 26 September 2011, in the Millennium TV program, I could see you, then Vicar General and other superiors of the Congregation of the Legionaries of Christ worshiping the corpse of our founding pederast. Let us note that a faggot was laid out with priestly vestments; a drug addict, a drunk, a womanizer who mocked the upright, proclaimed by the Church on May 1, 2010 as an abuser, without scruples or religious feelings (unholy = he laughs of God).

Not only did he mock God, the Church and of us. You, too, and a number of major superiors have mocked the authority of the Pope by accompanying our founding pedophile in his travels with his concubine and sacrilegious daughter, when according to the judgment of 19 May 2006 he should have left the [priestly] ministry and retired to a life of prayer and penance.

Under the roof of the sumptuous mansion where our founding pederast lived day and night you, then the Vicar General, and a series of higher ups, stayed enshrined together with the whore and the sacrilegious daughter.

Under the same roof you celebrated the Holy sacrifice of the Mass and allowed the sacrilegious relationship of our founding pederast with his concubine to continue.

How not to remember the summer of 2006 when you joined our founding pederast with the entire community of Rome to holiday in the Sorrento peninsula, even though since May 19, 2006 there was a standing order for himto withdraw to a life of prayer and penance.

At the end of the holiday period (in which our founder pederast alternated stays with religious and his sacrilegious women--put on record with photographs) he went to Rome and awaited permission from the Pope to attend the canonization of his uncle Archbishop Rafael Guízar Valencia, which took place on Sunday October 15, 2006. Authorization failed because evil ecclesiastics wove a new crown of thorns for the head of our founding pederast, who humbly resigned himself to follow the ceremony on television in the company of some superiors.

It seems that neither the incontrovertible facts nor the documents of the Holy See will have convinced you and the major superiors that the truth does set us free.

Your lips have kissed the corpse of a false prophet whom you and the major superiors presented to us as Alter Christus ("another Christ") while he was in fact an Anti-Christ.

Father Álvaro, your hands have taken the hands of a rapist of children who received our vows of chastity.

You prescribed to us prayers to say for our founding pedophile who died without asking for forgiveness.

I stay in the Legion because the Pope wants the Legion to continue until the full truth comes out.

The Legion will not be reformed with a change of structures and constitutions--without a blood-letting there is no redemption; we don't need vows of silence but to seek and accept martyrdom; enough now of apostolic effectiveness and fruits, the Legion should be poor as Christ and Christ touching the poor. Explaining poverty is not poverty, everyone knows what is to be poor and nobody wants to be poor except touched by the madness of the Cross.

The Legion without poverty and martyrdom has no remedy, and it will continue to be under the influence of the father of lies.

Our founding pedophile taught us to flee from danger, for example he moved the Legionaries of Mexico during the elections which would have given certain victory of Cuauhtemoc Cardenas; It was stated "we have no vocation for martyrdom."

Christ spilled his blood, and yet when the mercenary sees the wolf coming, he flees. We must be like the Good Shepherd, not cowardly queers, like our founding pedophile, whose sole criterion was money, just as remains for the current Legionaries, who are appropriately called "millionaires of Christ."

Father Álvaro, if your lips that have kissed the body of the pederast should use the word humility--we do know that nobody beats the legionaries in humility, nor do we support those who lack "charity"--we are the hope of the Church and the epitome of the religious life according to Vatican II; all this due to our founding pedophile, custodian of a unique charisma of whom we must be certain that God holds him in his Holy Glory, together with Mother Teresa, Saint Francis of Assisi and the choir of founders.

We the poor, stripped of lying, walk in truth. We abhor Marcial Maciel, we abandon Satan's Works and Seductions. Let us be partners of the truth cost what it may. [The Virgin] Mary was a woman so poor that she would never have been at a Regnum Christi meeting.

Playa del Carmen.- Los ciudadanos católicos que habían anunciado a través de las redes sociales una marcha pacífica a favor del padre Pablo Pérez Guajardo, invadieron la plaza cívica “28 de Julio”, justo cuando el gobernador Roberto Borge y el presidente municipal, Filiberto Martínez Méndez, estaban en un evento de entrega de vehículos a la administración municipal.

Con pancartas y consignas, los manifestantes reclamaron al alcalde su intervención para que el Obispo Pedro Pablo Elizondo, ordenara el cambio del cura Pablo Pérez Guajardo.

Los seguidores del padre comenzaron a llegar alrededor de las 19:30 horas, poco antes de iniciar el evento oficial, y ahí frente al alcalde y del propio gobernador, exigieron justicia para el sacerdote.

Reclamo que motivó a que los funcionarios se pusieran nerviosos, a tal grado que tuvieron que salir de esa zona en uno de los vehículos recién entregados.

Y es que cabe señalar que acatando la decisión del obispo Pedro Pablo Elizondo Cárdenas (Legionario de Cristo) el sábado 8 de septiembre 2012, el padre Pablo Pérez Guajardo, luego de más de 5 años de lucha por el respeto a los derechos humanos, se despedirá de la comunidad eclesial en cuanto al ejercicio del ministerio.

De acuerdo con declaraciones del padre, a ciencia cierta ignora el motivo de la drástica determinación porque no ha habido entrevista personal, a pesar de haberla solicitado con sus superiores.

Consideró un detalle hermoso coronar este servicio sacerdotal el 8 de septiembre, día en que la Iglesia recuerda el nacimiento de la Virgen María Madre de Dios.

Agradeció a hacia tanta gente maravillosa de Playa del Carmen, todo el apoyo para poder realizar su trabajo a favor de Quintana Roo.

El cura asume que sus problemas también están relacionados con el enfrentamiento que ha tenido con el actual alcalde de Solidaridad, Filiberto Martínez Méndez, a quien ha reclamado deficiencias en los servicios de transporte, en la cárcel municipal, en los centros de salud, entre otros asuntos.

Rev. Pablo Pérez Guajardo, ordained an LC priest in 1991, has been removed from priestly ministry and denied all recourse in the Prelature of Quintana Roo, Mexico, where he has labored tirelessly as pastor and social advocate of some of the poorest indigenous communities of the LC mission territory for over 15 years. Padre Pablo’s crime? Speaking out truthfully and courageously about the nightmarish legacy of Fr. Maciel and the frustrating farse of the LC’s phantom reform to anyone who would listen… and to more than a few who wouldn’t.

The only glimpse of the rationale behind the heavy-handed sanctions so gratuitously deposited on Fr. Pablo’s slight but steadfast shoulders appears in a carefully choreographed exchange of letters between Rodolfo Mayagoitia, LC (LC superior) and Mons. Pedro Pablo Elizondo, LC (bishop of the Prelature). Fr. Pablo was never received personally by the bishop regarding his elimination, despite his request for an interview. Elizondo disingenuously cites CDC n.682 to justify this travesty, accusing Padre Pablo of ‘upsetting the ecclesial harmony of the Prelature’. He is ominously advised in a post script to adhere to his punishment or suffer the full force of a Canonical clobbering.

This was a Machiavellian move in the best Maciel tradition. The local superior, the bishop, PP Elizondo, LC, tells the Regional/Provincial Superior, Mayagoitia, that he cannot have Fr. Guarjardo in his diocese, that he is not welcome for xyz excuses...
But it is really the really itself, the institution, that cannot countenance doubt or criticism.

Remember, if you have a critical mind, don't join the Legion of Christ.
If you have a questioning mind, do not join the LC
If you are docile and willing to believe whatever you are told, join the other sheep who join the Legion of Christ and the Regnum Christi Movement.

below is Elizondo's letter with the trumped up reasons why he can't accept Fr. Guajardo en the diocese 'he is disturbing the peace and harmony of the Church.' The priest has served the faithful here already for 15 years so basically he is being told to leave; he is being expelled from ministry by his own religious order.

Now what may be happening....Legion intrigue... is that Mayagoitia has ordered Elizondo to get rid of Guajardo. Elizondo is just following orders from further up...

A County Sligo priest has wed his girlfriend just eight months after he left the church.

Ian Kennedy and girlfriend Maria Cunningham were married last week according to newspaper reports.

The Sligo Champion stated that Cunningham gave birth to a baby boy just weeks before Kennedy quit the Church.

The Irish Sun reports that the family are now living in the village of Ballinacarrow near Sligo town.

The 42-year-old priest took to the pulpit in Ballinafad church last January to tell parishioners he was leaving the priesthood for personal reasons.

At the time he said he was starting a new chapter in his life.

Locals have welcomed his marriage and wished the happy couple all the best.

One former parishioner told the Irish Sun: “They deserve every happiness. They are lovely people.

“People knew of his close friendship with Maria and wondered if that is why he left the priesthood.

“Maria is over the moon at becoming Mrs Kennedy. They made no secret of their friendship.”

When he quit the priesthood, Kennedy told local newspaper the Sligo Champion he had left of his own ‘free will and choice’.

Introduction
The official Catholic Church stance on this issue is the following: “The Legion of Christ Produces Many Good Fruits; therefore it is a Good Religious Order Blessed by God.” The position was originally made clear at the end of the Vatican statement condemning the founder’s behaviors in May, 2006: “Independently of the person of the Founder, the worthy apostolate of the Legionaries of Christ and of the Association ‘Regnum Christi’ is gratefully recognized.”
When Pope Benedict XVI was interviewed in 2010 and questioned regarding the clergy sex abuse scandal and specifically about the Legion of Christ founder and the viability of the Legion he explained: “Naturally corrections must be made, but by and large the congregation is sound. In it there are many young men who enthusiastically want to serve the faith. This enthusiasm must not be destroyed. Many of them have been called by a false figure to what is, in the end, right after all. This is the remarkable thing, the paradox, that a false prophet, so to speak, could still have a positive effect.”
The belief held by Pope Benedict XVI, by his Delegate to the Legion of Christ, and by the Leadership of the order can be formulated as followed: The Legion of Christ Produces Many Good Fruits; therefore it must be good despite the corrupt and harmful life of the founder.
The author will first describe some the Legion’s “good” fruits, then explore them more in depth, and finally point out other, “bad” or ambiguous fruits, which the Legion produces.

The Legion of Christ: Elevating Denial To A Charism

Finally the Vatican admits the Legion of Christ needs a new identity.  One can only hope this new identity will involve more than just tweaking the packaging or changing the logo.  I have followed the Legion story since 1998 when Gerald Renner and Jason Berry first wrote about Marcial Maciel and the Legion in the Hartford Courant.  As the years have passed, I have watched the carefully constructed facade (product identity) of the Legion come crashing down. I also came to the conclusion the only charism the Legion had was not spiritual, it was psychological.  The Legion institutionalized the defense mechanism 'denial' and made practicing it part of their constitution.  The Vatican has been engaged in the same 'charism' about this group for decades.  JPII even went so far as to throw Maciel's personal secretary, Fr Raphael Moreno out of his office when the secretary wanted to spill his guts about Maciel.  JPII did not want to hear him and would not believe him. I guess one could define JPII's level of denial as infallibly wrong.  Anyway, the Vatican has now come to the conclusion that it might make more sense to rethink the Legion's reason for existence before it approves a new constitution written by the old leadership who surrounded Maciel.....and like good Legionnaires, 'knew nothing'.

Vatican says disgraced Legion of Christ needs a new identity

VATICAN CITY -- The disgraced Legion of Christ religious order needs to rethink its identity before going forward with its internal reform, the papal envoy in charge of the group's overhaul told priests and lay members in a letter published Wednesday.

Cardinal Velasio De Paolis was appointed in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI to oversee the order's reform after revelations that its founder, Fr. Marcial Maciel, had lived a double life, abusing children and fathering a son. (He fathered more than one child and sexually abused his sons.)

Macial had enjoyed iconic status in the Legion, with strong suspicions that its leaders had been at least partly aware of his actions.
De Paolis writes that the troubled groups' various branches, which include priests, religious and laypeople, need "a common platform" to "regulate reciprocal relations ... according to the identity proper to each group."

This "joint reflection on the identity and mission" of the order, said Fr. Andreas Schoeggl, a Legion spokesman, needs to precede the final revision of the order's internal rules, which has been ongoing for the last two years and was the main goal of the pope's taking over of the order.

The papal delegate's letter sees the light after several observers have criticized the slow pace of reform inside the Legion. (Cardinal De Paolis has been dithering for two years, and more than 'several' observers think this is because of the Legion's finances, specifically the holding company known as Integer.)

On June 22, Fr. Thomas V. Berg, a former Legionary, wrote on the conservative blog First Things about "The Legion's Scandal of Stalled Reform." According to Berg, "the Legion's superiors ... have fostered a culture of institutional opposition to the radical reform that is truly required."
Schoeggl denied this, saying reform "proceeds with a constant pace" and that there is "absolutely no intention" of returning to the past.

Still, new scandals have buffeted the Legion in recent weeks. Its most famous priest, Fr. Thomas Williams, admitted fathering a child, while his superiors acknowledged covering up for him for years. And this week, dozens of women who attended a Legion high school in Wakefield, R.I., accused school officials of abuse and deception, according to a letter sent to the Vatican that was obtained by The Associated Press.
"For any errors made by our order in the past, we do apologize," Margarita Martinez, director of the Immaculate Conception Academy told the AP. "We are sorry these young women have suffered and been harmed in any way."
